Ted Vardalos brings over 50 years of experience across every facet of real estate. His career began in Winnipeg as a partner in a private investment firm, building an apartment portfolio through the late 1970s and 1980s. From 1982 to 1992, Ted worked as a licensed commercial broker, overseeing transactions for both local and national clients.
After relocating to Kelowna, BC, Ted brokered notable commercial transactions in hotel sites, retail and office leasing, and secured anchor tenants for major shopping centres. He also played a defining role in the vision and the transaction of British Columbia’s first large-scale shopping centre on First Nations land, tenured under a 99‑year prepaid Federal Lease Agreement.
Among achievements as a land consultant is assembling a 6.25-acre Kelowna waterfront parcel—now home to Aqua Waterfront Village, the city’s premier lakeside community featuring luxury condos and townhomes, retail space, plus a dry dock boat storage and valet facility.
Today, Ted focuses on structuring tax-advantaged partnerships that help landowners unlock their property’s full potential in collaboration with leading apartment developers, while also originating much-needed “missing middle” infill multiplex projects.
